Fuck Yeah Warrior Women

Her name is Batgirl.

Her vocabulary is less than a dozen words.

She thinks in purely physical terms, making her a lethal hand-to-hand combatant.

And she has one priority.

No one… no one… will get hurt on her watch.

[ Image: A colour painting of a young jedi woman seemingly of asian appearance, bracing herself on a broad flight of stairs with her blue lightsaber ignited. She wears a thigh-length dark grey tunic trimmed with black over what appears to be a blue unitard, bound at the waist by a blue and black striped belt carrying a couple of utility items. Black thigh-high boots that have multiple buckles up their sides match the waist-length black hair streaming behind her on the same breeze that moves the smoke surrounding her. ]

[ A full colour CGI image of an asian woman in modern paramilitary gear with short practical black hair. Her pants and short-sleeved top are made from a clearly synthetic puce-coloured material; they are contrasted by the darker grey-black of her combat boots, the body armour covering her torso and right knee, and the empty tactical holster strapped to her right thigh. Fingerless padded gloves protect the hands holding a submachine gun across her chest; visible behind it is her radio attached to her armour, the earpiece belonging to it is nestled in her right ear. A line of black paint intended to reduce glare when aiming is streaked across each cheek, and visible on her sleeve are patches depicting Korean characters. ]
Park “Forty-Five” Yoon-Hee is a character from the 2011 computer game SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs (aka SOCOM: Special Forces outside the US), the only playable female character in the entire franchise. According to her bio:

Park got her start in the South Korean 707th Special Mission Battalion (“White Tiger”). Within eighteen months she was attached to the 45th Special Forces Brigade (Special Warfare Command) after the Korean military relaxed restrictions for female officers serving in active counter-terror operations abroad. In addition to her quick thinking under pressure she is an expert in covert operations, CQB and has considerable experience working in hostile environments.

In related news, Australia will be the fourth nation to remove restrictions on women in frontline roles following Canada, New Zealand and Israel; the Government has given the services 5 years to implement the changes.

Cool sci-fi suit by Ken Bishop.
Also, eevachu, don’t give up your dream to be in roller derby, cuz roller derby is fuckin’ awesome (you can still be a knight, too).

[A full length image of a woman in a futuristic and highly textured dark grey body suit and knee high flat-soled boots. She is light skinned and darkly complexioned, suggesting Middle Eastern ethnicity. Her arms are outstretched, palms braced against white look like  simple strips of colour, bringing them into the reality of the image and its reflective floor. Over the suit is a deep-red sleeveless cloak with white decorations, over which spills her long black hair. The suit and the cloak share the same collar, a large ring almost as wide across as her shoulders that looks like it’s meant to accept a space helmet of some kind. ]
