WHOSOEVER HOLDS THIS HAMMER, IF SHE BE WORTHY, SHALL POSSESS THE POWER OF THOR.
ACTUAL GODDESS NATASHA ROMANOV
I always knew she was one :D
As is so often true of comics, a lot of the awesome is in the details. Natasha can’t move the Hammer when she first reaches it. What makes her worthy at the end when she apparently wasn’t worthy just seconds before? Look at panels 2-3 again. Natasha’s got that big ogre right on top of her with his club already going back to strike … and instead of shooting it to save herself, she uses her last shot to bring down the flying reptile that’s chasing that fleeing shuttle. That act of self-sacrifice in the face of certain death is what made her worthy.

I had a brain fart today. Though I’m pretty sure someone else has thought and done something a lot better about it.
Hot Toys Declassifies Its ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Black Widow Figure [X]
Comic-verse Black Widow was a professional ballerina, which is all sorts of awesome.
Done with a few refs. Trying to learn new things.
I AM THE BLACK SWAN.
I am in love with this.
Jeph Loeb announced a Black Widow/Punisher animated film about a year back, so I wasn’t surprised to see it being officially announced and trailered and everything. I was surprised to see Jennifer Carpenter doing Natasha’s voice, but a good kind of surprise. And then I found another good surprise on Marvel.com:"Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher" was directed by Kenichi Shimizu, with a story by Marjorie Liu and screenplay by Mitsutaka Hirota.
I am going to repeat that with italics: they got Marjorie Liu to write this thing.
Also, look how Nat is posed on the cover: not only is she all the way zipped up but not in the infamous butt shot! She gets a strong pose just as the male characters do! And she gets front and centre profile!
